With the growing technology everyone mandatorily uses a smartphone. It is easy to do everything with this smartphones. This app collects all the info of the activities, communications happening in the device and stores  it in the data base of the app. From a web page of the same app the data can be reviewed. This mobile tracking application makes use of internet.

·         By means of web server- this server gets the details from the app and organizes the data. All you need is a username and password to read the stored logs

Also there are few sites where in one needs to feed the phone number that needs to be tracked. Just when the phone number is entered, immediately the location of the phone and the network that it uses are displayed. These websites do not work real-time, that is it does not give the actual location of the person. If a person wants his/ her mobile phone not to be tracked then there is a way. Simply the mobile phone can be put on the flight mode; by doing this the phone easily goes into offline mode. But not always the phone can be kept in flight mode.

This tracking mechanism can be used by parents to ensure that their kids are safe. From security point of view the police department finds it easy to track the criminals.
